When it comes to a staircase being the focal point of a building, FLYGHT set the standard. This very contemporary design uses glass risers and concealed fixings to create the impression that it’s almost floating. It’s open, airy and very stylish. Initially conceived for a client who particularly specified steel, glass and white oak, it’s gone on to be produced in a variety of finishes.
Whatever materials you choose our engineers and designers will steer you through the details. Toughened glass for example does restrict the minimum inner string radius of any curved staircase. Rebated stainless steel handrails need a minimum radius of 2m. Your vision, and our being with you every step, will make for a winning combination.
